I woke up early Sunday morning to try and get some scenery shots of Camel Lake before the fog had lifted.
Once again John Ziegel brings breakfast to us.
Chad and BW play Patty Cake in the woods………..aren’t they cute? LOL.
And finally misc. shots of snakes found by our group.
Scarlet Snake
Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnakes are fairly common and I took pictures of a few different ones.
An area where Cottonmouhts are pretty abundant.
I never get tired of seeing Cottonmouths. It is amazing the abundance of this snake in the Florida Panhandle region.
BW Smith taking his turn photographing one of the Cottonmouths.
A couple of Gray Ratsnakes that were found.
A nice sized Garter Snake.
A Red Bellied Watersnake that Doug Williams wrangled out of the swamp for us!
And last but not least……….I get a phone call from Dr. Bob 5 minutes after I left camp to head back home saying he found an Eastern Diamondback. It was crossing the road that I had just been on. He took some pics and emailed them to me later that day.
It was a long drive back home but well worth it.
