Miscellaneous Reptile & People Pictures

Me with Henry Rollins. Henry stopped by my place when I lived in Ft.Lauderdale to check out the collection. Later that night my brother, Brian, and I went to Miami to see his spoken word show. Henry has always had an appreciation for reptiles and we enjoyed talking about them during his stop by my warehouse. Henry is extremely knowledgeable and very competent with venomous snakes.

My brother, Brian, used to live with me "way back when", and he would always lend me a hand when I needed some help. This was the first time he had ever touched a King Cobra. It was a fresh import from Malaysia and had alot of stuck skin and ticks that needed to be removed. Thanks Brian!

A very large Malaysian King Cobra, 14 foot for so, being tubed prior to deticking and stuck skin debridement.

My one and only pet skunk. Very personable and enjoyable pet to have. My good friend David Hitzig at the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary now uses her for educational programs because she is so easy to handle.

Is that food I smell on your hand?

Tristan and Michelle both enjoy some play time with "Paris" the Ring Tailed Lemur!

Tristan and Paris are best friends:-) Michelle playing with Paris.

Our Golden Retriever, Honey Bear, used to love sniffing and staring at the mice I would bring home. She would sit for hours with her ears perked up just hoping that mouse would jump out:-).

Honey Bear just can't stop staring at the mouse.

The one and only Gordon Cates. This was a Malaysian King Cobra that Gordon called "Pumpkin Head".

It's all fun and games. Gordon and Pumpkinhead

I used to make the drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami to visit Mario Tarbruae at Zoological Imports 2000, Inc. He would always have plenty of mammals in addition to his reptiles.........not to mention the best Cuban Coffee! This is a picture of me playing with his Black Leopard. She was cute and cuddly until she got "big". Also a picture of Mario with a large Elephant Trunk Snake.

One of the only pictures that I have of the Treasure Coast Herpetological Society. A picture of Bruce Dangerfield holding one of his prized Pine Snakes and of his Possum.
